There's Semiologic and SemiologicPro

Semiologic is free.

The pro version is expensive and needs an API key to be complete. This version includes a lot of plugins the API lets it have automatic updates. When the API expires, the theme reverts to a free version and keeps working

Semiologic free has a place for the API key to be inserted, but it will work fine without it.

Here's a package assembled by someone in another forum that combines the free one with more plugins than you will ever need and it works much like the SemiologicPro.

Some of the plugins in this package can do weird things like make your text all numbers in the source code; so pay attention to which ones you use.

1. you should have WP already installed on your site
2. you can either extract the files on your computer (extract to a new folder on your computer to contain all the files) or upload the zip file to your blog folder on your host and extract them there.
3. you will be installing these files to overwrite the files already in your blog folder; so give permission to "yes" overwrite.

Once this is done, you log in to admin of your blog and activate the semiologic theme. I had some errors when doing that, but it activated just fine anyway.
The default is a white page with a golden bar across header. You change that by applying a "skin" from the design tab. You can control lots of other theme related items such as ads in the header or header boxes by using the widgets control. There is a dropdown at the top of the widgets page that lets you see the various sections of the site like header or sidebars. Then you add the widgets to each section as you build the site.

You need to go to the plugins page and activate the plugins you want to use.
Don't activate plugins that you won't be using as they can slow down the loading of your blog.

There are many plugins in this pack that I don't use, and a few that I have added to my site. I like the WP automatic update plugin, the Maxblogpress PingOptimizer, and I like to also use BayRss.
