\r\n I have no special story, just followed some courses in the forum and worked to make some money online, and in fact i do a living now only from my internet businesses.

\r\nI was doing more money before recession but things are slowly getting better now. I like to build sites and let them make money without me working around them after the initial setup. For example, I have 1 site I have not seen, changed or checked for 3 years now and it makes $10000 a year. It is only 60 pages always the same. I paid the hosting for that site for next 5 years, made a backup and now can go on holidays.

\r\nFor me, I\'ve leveraged the internet to increase my offline business and to create authority for me for speaking engagements. From there, colleagues saw success and my online presence, now I help them, for a fee, get their businesses more online visibility.

\r\nMake a couple of bucks with adsense sites and a few affiliate dollars through clickbank, trying to rank at launch times. That isn\'t as lucrative as all the guru\'s say, as they have their teams out there to outrank the little guy.

\r\nI\'ve started a few niche sites and am beginning to start their organic traffic plan, so I hope they will provide some fruit in 2010. I\'m also going to try the postcard push 1 method as it seems like a good idea and have had one friend have success with it, so I\'ll try it. TEST, TEST, TEST and see what works. Great thing about the internet, where can you start up a business in a few days for a few bucks and if it fails, you\'re only out a few dollars (try that with a franchise or a brick and mortar business).\r\n

\r\nright now i am in pre-christmas, after cyber-monday activity, which means i check daily sites that i made 5 months ago (it was howie schwartz in one of his videos to ask what are we waiting to do for holiday offers, and i think it was august). i have made 15 sites and only 2 are doing well, ok more than well.

\r\nthe sites are a mix of amazon, clickbank, overstock and adsense offers, and if it is possible a lot of plr articles to spin. when i was doing the research i was looking at niches that had amazon, clickbank and adsense offers, with main keywords more than 3000 exact searches and less than 100000 competition. you can start doing research method from the plr titles, from brainstorming in micro niche finder or other, or whatever way you use.

\r\nthe sites were made with the thesis theme i have pre-made (custom.css, custom_functions.php and images inserted) and with all plugins i made a zip and uploaded. in this way a site from registration to going live needs only 2-3 hours.

\r\nbtw, the 2 sites doing very well are in the electronics niche and are making each at least 1 sell in amazon a day ($15-$25), $2-$3 adsense a day, some overstock cents and an occasional clickbank ebook of $22.

\r\n- Build links to main site with high pr forum profiles (linking loophole) & article directories (senuke). Some authority links (10-15 a day)
\r\n - Building a network of 2.0 sites with Senuke. Each refers to the next and the internal pages of main site. The massive build links to these web2.0 sites from bookmarks, profiles.

\r\nThere is a problem that the network element can be removed and then the network collapses or reduces.

\r\n I experimented on links with a new domain versus a four year old PR3 domain I bought. The newer one definitely spends time in the sandbox if I spam links. The older boy didn\'t suffer any punishment except for a little reshuffling that happens when new links fly in. Who knows what the algorithm is, but the older the domain the better and more links it can absorb.

i have some problems with bmd version 5 and so don\'t use it, but bookmarkwiz is faster and you can make accounts if you have recaptcha or some other captcha service very quickly. in fact i made 100 different accounts in 2 days. of course you need gmail accounts, proxies and a recaptcha service.\r\n

\r\n one thing I\'m missing in my bag of tricks is a good list of proxies. Thinking of getting a few that are private or put together a group to get some. Any suggestions out there for a good proxy list and where to get good ones daily ??\r\n

\nhis is a php5 script that grabs proxies. With it\'s current list it grabs around 20k proxies but you can add more URLs to the list and get more than that.

\nYou\'ll need the Curl extension installed and the curl_multi functions to work. There are some weird issues depending on the php version/operating system/ curl version combination (Debian has been troublesome in my experience).

\nJust open grabProxies.php in your browser and after a while check proxies.txt. I also recommend you then run the proxy list through your proxy checker of choice, since a lot of these might be dead.

\r\nThere\'s loads and loads of info and courses available on this site, but for newbies (and even for more experienced members) the issue of what basic business model to choose is still a difficult decision. The tradeoff between skills needed, time and money available, and rewards sought is still a difficult balance to make.

\r\nI think many people don\'t realize yet that it\'s important not to keep all your eggs in one basket, but, at the same time to have a daily/weekly/monthly process in place to make sure that you are continually developing a robust business.

\r\nJim\'s earlier post on the relative succcess of his Xmas sites gives a clue. About a 10% success rate seems a decent hit rate from what I\'ve read, and there\'s no substitute for doing the basic product/market research to identify what you want to target. Tools like Micro Niche Finder are invaluable in this, and the debates on how to spin and write articles are full of good personal experiences and advice. The CPA threads are starting to interest me.
